Gen 1-1.5 differences

I can't seem to find the difference between Gen1-1.5, or what year(s) gen1.5 covers. Let me know, Thanks.

gen 1 is 1999-2001
gen 1.5 is 2002-2003
gen 2 is gen 2004-2005

The gen 1.5 has different tail lights and front end than the gen 1...

Ah ok, thanks. So, when manufacturers refer to certain parts only fitting 99-01, is that true, or will they most likely work up to 02-03 as well? If only the tails and front end is different, I would assume anything else would work on 02-03 that's designed for 99-01, right?

depends what part... some manufacturers are usually wrong about their #s anyhow!
