It says 1999-2004, which doesn't make much sense to me. I have an 03. I'd like to get a grille like this. Is this worth it, or are there better places to go?

That's just the mesh insert. There are no aftermarket grills for the solara, except for the gen 2 solaras, Michael arctic frost made them. You have to customize your own grill, tito used to customize gen 1 and gen 1.5 grilles here and charged a little to people on this board. We have a couple people on here that did their own grille.

Save some money and buy gutter guard from home depot. Cut it to fit the opening. Secure with a few zip ties and youre done. Thats what I did with my custom lower grille. Im sure you could do the same with the upper, but it would take a little more work.

Did you guys make a frame for the grille, or did you just mangle your original grille and put the mesh in there? Is there a tutorial I'm missing?

I'll just reiterate that the stuff on Ebay is the same as Home Depot gutter guard. Mesh pattern, size, everything. 6 3/4" x 48" Says ebay. Funny, thats the same size as the gutter guard is.

I would advise to pick up some clearcoat/lacquer at Home Depot if you plan to use this, since gutter guard does rust over time if not protected.
