Bumper fitment

Bumper fitment

Postby pvu » Tue Feb 01, 2005 11:38 am

I have tried searching for this topic but couldn't find an clear answer. I have a 99 toyota solara and my front bumper is damaged. I managed to find a used 03 bumper at a junk yard. However, I am not sure about the fitment of the 03 bumper on my 99 solara. I was wondering have any users on this forum have any success doing this and are there any modifications required to make it fit. Thanks

Paul

I don't think I can afford to convert my front to a 1.5 generation. I can barely pay for a new bumper, that's why I've been looking through junk yards and ebay. Long story short: I highly recommend not to buy a fiberglass bumper especially if you live in the NorthEastern region.

sup paul! damm you STILL havent fixed your bumper???? i see you forgot your login and just made a new one? lol

with the Gen1.5 bumper, youll need to change:
foglights
grille
headlights
convert from H4 bulb wiring to 9006 and add in another for high beams
corner lights
fenders
Im not sure if the hood is the same though
Retired... its been fun Image
