I had the same thing... and it could be a head gasket, or something else. Are you boosted? cause you are burning something, and it really depends on waht the exhaust smells like.. could be anti freeze, or it could be oil... i'd get a leak down test (compression test) done asap..

I think if it only smoke in the monring, it is normal. because it is freaking cold and you had some condensation inside the exhaust. every car smokes in the morning.

i think it may be coolant or anti-freeze.

Does it stop smoking?

I understand the car smokes in the morning cause it was cold but my smoke was huge it look like a big smoke machine that is coming out of my exhaust it fills the whole road that I go into I dont know what's wrong I brought into the mechanic and could't find anything wrong....he did mention about the exhaust being frozen cause I havent use the car for 2 days luckily I use the car again just now and the smoke is gone...I still think it's not the cold because there was a LOT of smoke coming out and I dont think any car should produce a gigantic amount of smoke

did u recently do an oil change on it .. and havent driven since u did... if u pour oil too fast it can get caught up in the intake valve and when it burns off there is A LOT of smoke

What kind of oil did you use?

I took my moms car to a guy that was gonna change the oil and all that good stuff and he put 20w50 in her little 4 banger engine and that just tore it up. It had the same problem you had, smoke for miles. Ended up replacing the engine.

check your coolant level first, then the transmission fluid. Either one will give lots of white smoke. If it's coolant, you have a blown head gasket. If it's transmission fluid, you need a new modulator valve.

That's my bet. Or a warped head. I wonder if the car has ever been run hot...
