please dont cross post.

depending on what your tastes are

Apex- quiet. pretty much stock quiet
Greddy- a little louder, but not much.
JIC- low level loudness but still fairly quiet.

if you want loud, you are going to have to go custom route.

Are those JIC Exhausts any good? How does it compare to Greddy, Apexi, and others? :o

I've tried both the JIC and i currently have the Greddy,

When i had the JIC installed my car was very torquey. Alot of low end power but i didn't like the back pressure if gave. once i let the my foot off the gas i can feel my car pull back.

With the greddy evo. I lost the low end torque that i got with the JIC. But you dont have the back pressure and its more free flow.

This is just my personal exp with the two. It also depends on the mods you have done to your car to get diff results.

My engine is pretty much stock. Except i have a k&n drop in filter.

hope this helps.

yeah...with custom you can choose to bump up the piping diameter a quarter or a half inch wider and choose the muffler style you like or you can even have it angled out...all for less than the price of a bolt on!

the only problem is they most likely will not be considered street legal...greddy claims 50 state legal as does the ApexWS (i think, dunno about JIC) so peace of mind may be worth the extra $$$ in the end

For emissions or noise? There have been individuals on the forum that have recieved tickets for their Greddy being too loud.

greddy is 50 state legal in dB...emission might be another story...if anyone is pulled over with a greddy for being too loud just show the paperwork that proves it...

edit: greddy and apexws piping will be mandrel bent which will allow for better air flow vs crush bends that most muffler shops perform...the difference may be minimal tho
