Please advise: Tokico strut making peculiar noise.

I had my Solara lowered about 2 years ago. I've recently noticed that the right rear passenger strut is making a strange *gas leaking* noise when it gets extended or compressed (for instance, over a speed bump). The other 3 struts don't make this noise. Also, I've noticed a very subtle rattle/click on that corner during slow driving.

What could be some possible reasons for this?
Does Tokico's lifetime warranty cover this defect?

Thanks in advance!

I think this has just recently been brought up by several people and the root of the problem is incorrect installation. You have to take the strut out and tighten up the bolts that hold the strut together.
