question about tires

Postby papaae » Wed Feb 09, 2005 7:18 pm

People,
I dont have a lot of money any more since my recent engagement but I can see that my solara is going to need its first set of tires within 10k miles.
I have an 02 SE with a hair over 30k on the odo. I still have 99.9% stock everything on the car.
Can anybody suggest a resonably priced tire make/model that will give better traction than what i have in the snow rain that kinda thing?
The Best Car I've ever owned....

Kumho 714s

On my Ive gone through a total of 6 of these and will keep going. (replaced two due to a blown sidewall due to curb rubbing). WAY better than stock in traction, comfort, wet, dry, and snow, and its 40-50 a corner depending if you have 15 or 16s. I'll keep getting them too until I switch to bigger rims. You can get them at www.tirerack.com
