What octane do you Regularly Put into ur solara? state octane and state if u have a v6 or a I4.

Till now ive been putting 87 octane into my v6, jon said i should put 93, from know, im gonna do 93 and only 93.

93 in my I4.

Probably doesnt need it, but it cant hurt.

Like i said, V6 is a premium engine, If you dont put in premium in older engines, it can misfire and knock. On newer engines, i believe it just throttles down the max output to prevent knock so your not running at full potential of the engine.

93 always. even tho it can take 89 i put 93 even if the increased performance is minimal

Crap...I been doing 83 and thought it was ok. 87 is still good right? 93 cost too much and I cant afford that kind mula.

in California we only have 91 so thats what I always put for my V6 and my occassional 100 octane for track days =D

Haha you guys need to do like what my friend and I did to this old CRX hatch...93 octane gas 3 gallon mixed with 1 gallon R/C nitro fuel. Car ran like a 4 banger on mini NOS haha and it actually cleans the motor too becuase nitro fuel is really clean and its part oil. Car FLEWWWW haha.

Haha Maybe one day when the car is coming toward its day. Its still nitrous and on a V6, thats allot of power and BOOM and BOOM. The CRX was a trash car from a wreck and we wanted to put it out of its life. It still runs haha with 200,000 miles on it.
