Yikes, I get some blow-by out of the air breather I have on the valve cover vent, but I only loose about 3/4 quart of oil every 3k miles.

Yeah right now when i was cleanin' the bottom half of my intake box, i saw alot of oil near that blowby tubing in the resonator between the rubber hose. :o :o
It's alot on the front rubber hose, and near the opening of the blowby tubing. :o :o
My car only has 65,000 miles i think; it somewhere arounf there.
It's like a thick film of the oil though, not like gushin' into the intake.

it means you have to much pressure on your crack case. check if any vacum line got stucked and if you check compression is fine....just get a oil catch can.

you suppose get some oil from there once awhile but not a quart. i think the quart of oil from gone to somewhere else

Compression test is very easy and a guage is cheap. Just check the front 3 cylinders since they are VERY easy to get to. Good cylinder compression should be around 225. I think as long as you are above 170 or so, you are ok. My bet is when you take the plugs out of the front 3, you'll find oil on at least 1 of the plugs. You're ring lands are gone. Our pistons are CHEAP aluminum alloy CRAP! I had damaged the ring lands on all 6 pistons. Joseph is right, a little oil in a boosted application is not abnormal. A little positive pressure in places that had vacuum before will do that  . That much oil is definitely a sign of bad thinks, trust me. -JoeB
