car problems

so ya, if u read my thread in the General section about how my car was stuck in the mudd, well damn, my two front rims are okay but they are scratched up!....but anyway the problem is when im driving and i go about 50mph, the car starts to shake, and so does the steering wheel. What could be the problem?

I would pull the wheels off and make sure you got all the mud out of there. It sounds like a balance issue to me. If you have it all cleaned up very good, take it in and have the wheels balanced again. That is my guess. -JoeB

i agree, def sounds like a balancing/alignment issue...that same vibration occurred after i got new wheels, got em re-balanced and everything is a-okay!

woot! people say nothing is free? haha i got it for free!

so i took it to pepboys, the guy i know there is the manager, they did a balancing on all four tires, and put the front tires in the back and the back tires in the front cause my front tires are almost bald (no thread). so yea i took it on rt 80 and did like 120, no shaking at all...so im good, just need two new tires now....
