Driver's side, everything looks ok...

Passenger's side not lookin so hot. Every time I go over a bump, it squeaks. Needless to say I am taking it back to the shop that did the install. My questions however are what is the proper name for that black rubber piece between the strut and spring? Second, is it easy to re-seat? Do I have to remove my WHOLE back seat AGAIN so they can access the strut bolts or is this something that can be fixed from outside the car?

seat for the spring?

looks like one need to compress the spring with a few thousand pounds of force again to adjust that piece of rubber seat for the spring.

You don't need to take it to a shop. I had that happen on one of my rear struts also and used a little bit of elbow grease to re-seat the spring and the rubber thing back into there proper places.

You do need to take everything out to get to the strut in the back.

Dont confuse, i know you need to take the rear out to access the strut bolts, i did it once before. I wanted to know if it was required to re-seat the rubber thingy.

doesn't look like you need to redo it.... just spring compress it if you can and push it back into place. looks like you went over a mad bump or something and feel out of place.... or wasn't installed correctly.

Ok, I got it re-seated but the squeak is still there. Any idea what else it might be?

Is your RSB tight in the bushings?

No sway bar, just tokico struts and tein springs.

I turned my music down today, and when I was driving over a bumpy road I noticed not a big knocking but just a little knocking coming from the rear suspension, I have teins and tokicos, been on for about 1000 miles now Id say, any clue, The rubber looks fine where the spring seats, Im really hoping the mount isnt loose or somthing.
