It stands for Japanese Domestic Market. In other words it was sold as an OE part in Japan. Sometimes in Japan they get better / different parts. (eg. The 1994-1999 Celica could come with OE projection headlamps in Japan.)
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

I agree 100 percent on this. I don't think that the black corners would look right with chrome headlight housings.

it'd be cooler for you to just paint your corner lights and headlights' housings instead of buying mismatched stuff. would you go gloss metallic or flat black?

Mine is all a flat black with just the projector eyes, it looks very dark.

I had been thinking about this and I do see your point. I guess my options are....wait and see if someone starts making the headlights (who knows when) Or paint them. Ideally the color should match my tailights (cf) .
I will wait a little longer to see if the black corners appear...if they do...I wil just paint the headlight housings...in flat black. If they dont...I guess..I will paint everything...but I just dont know how easy that is going to be.

Did you paint your corners and housing headlights on your own?
