I know EXACTLY what you are talking about. The only way that i use to bypass that stupid dinging, is to either take the key out, or go to ACC.

Dude..read, it was dinging when he took out the key too...

BTW, how did you solve it?

He's how I solved the problem. On the ignition column there is two wires coming out of the back. One is a smaller gray wire that is connected by a harness to another wire. This is for a switch that tells the car that the key is in the igintion. Well I guess that switch is bad, so i just diconnected the switch. Now my car thinks that my key isn't in there. The only thing bad about this is that it won't ding at me when I leave my keys in there so there is a greater chance of me locking my keys in the car. To me it was worth it. Because now I dont have the beep, I can lock my doors with out it unlocking right away, and my keyless lock works now.
