STUCK WITH TOYOTA WARRANTY! NEED HELP!

Wassup guys

Since i got my car about three months ago and i found out that my mom has about a five year warranty on my 2003 SE V6 Solara, i figured i am screwed in terms of being able to fix up my car. So, whatever i do to my car, it has to be strictly TRD. big woo-pee...

So...instead of getting the new Injen intake, i will have to settle for some TRD
air filters. My question is...will i notice a difference in my cars' performance?

at the same time, i need to know what upgrades i should do/get for my car.

I am strictly looking towards performance rather than the whole looking "cool" scheme. thanks in advance

just mod it back befor you bring it to dealer, but messing with your mom's car aint fun because she will blame you for the car runs "wierd" or loud.

we can tell if the car has been modified and reassembled... not all dealers have tthat skill =P

If you mod something, it won't void the whole warranty... just the related section

ask richard... no more powertrain lol

I thoguht if you don't want the warranty you can always call the dealer up and cancel the service contract which will viod your warranty and refund all your money.

btw your mom prob buy the warranty because she doesn't want you to fix up your car  j/k

TO get the warranty FROM TRD...

1. Buy the part at the dealer

2. Install the part at the dealer

and it's only 12 months of warranty (longer on some other parts) on TRD stuff...

#1 TRD stuff is overpriced for what it is... it is a minor improvement over stock.

#2. Labor rates at (some) dealers are outrageous... $80 to install a rear sway bar... $15 elsewhere...

Extended warraties depend on what you mod too, cus, in the end if its the modded product that lead to the defect or malfunction, then its not the manufacturers (or the extended warranty folks) fault. Like if you ran higher wattage bulbs and blew a headlight harness, then its your fault, but if you can prove that those bulbs were silverstars or something legal, then they are bounded to replace it. So its all dependent on your mods and your relationship with the dealership.
