lexus yellow fog caps

I really like the look of the lexus yellow fogs, and I know you can get the caps to cover the bulbs, but:

1. Will the cap cause excess heat buildup, shortening the life of the bulb or causing the bulb and cap to explode or shatter?

2. Do you have to bake the foglight housing to install the caps?

i think is louis is done retrofitting, he is not doin it anymore
