VSD BASIS install

Okay, looking though the for sale section, I noticed that there was a little toy that I might be able to play with... the VSD BASIS. It shows speed and RPM in a nice reflection on your windshield. Looked as much as I could and couldnt find an answer on exactly which wires to tap into.

Wires suggestions needed for tap:

12v & ground...-Allready found em
RPM and Speedo wire sensors. -needed

anyone with knowledge of the wireharness behind the dash please let me know. Thanks! -John

RPM and Speedo wire sensors

You have to take and tap into the dash needles circuts on the back. The rpm is the negative one in the back right behind the rpm gauge part on the circut. The speed should be the same behind the speed section. Hope that helps. Tooked me 5 hours to figure out mine.
Edit:Careful when taping. Its not fun if you see a puff!!

i have the ECU pin layout but am currently having a hard time deciding on which one it would be. I would post up the picture but im sure there is a post somewhere here that should still have it. My guess is that it might be one of the ones that is marked "idle" since on the pin layout that I got there is more than one. thanks for all your help guys
