9003 projector headlights

9003 projector headlights

Since no one makes projectors for the solara, and the solara uses 9003 a.k.a H4 bulbs, is it ok if i buy a pair of 2003 Civic aftermarket headlights that have projectors, and use those 9003 projectors on my solara? this would allow me to go around that whole d2 bulb thing...

here could be a better question. what bulbs did the 98up gs300 use. considering HID's were an option they had to use regular bulbs. if they use what i think they did (9006) we could retrofit someway to our cars.

just a thought

You could do that... have you tried looking for housings on ebay? In the past I've seen strictly projector housing auctions. Prolly cheaper than buying a full setup and butchering it.

Not going to happen, it's too much trouble to make them. There are a couple companies that do custom jobs. Peter posted up a link to one of them a long while back.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.
