It is a light sensor. For what, I don't know.

i didnt read all the posts past the 4th one or so.. but the antenna is integrated into the rear windshield :D better than it sticking out like on the IS 300... friggin giant rc hahaha

It is light sensor. It automatically turns on the headlight when its dark. For example it will turn on the headlights @ daytime when you are driving through a dark tunnel.

you know what i luv about the solara?? the fact that you can leave your headlights on all night and you never have a dead battery...ahhh..goof proof for idiots like me who usually forget to turn their lights off. :)

but they turn off autmatically...
(unless you turn them off and back on after you take the key out, or something like that)
