problems =(
so i have been working on my car the past two days and im now havin weird problems.
i have changed the coolant, for which i jacked up the car, removed the skidplate, drained and filled with water and ran the car for a few minutes (twice), and then filled with coolant/water mix. pretty standard procedure.
cleaned the throttle body according to standard procedure in tutorials section. i had to remove and reattach my CAI obviously.
put in carbon fiber trim (no problems with that)
put in blue film for my turn signals in my dash (no problems with that, i think)
ok now the problems:
whenever i turn the car on for a cold start, i hear like this water trickling noise when i start driving. it disappears after like 5 seconds. i suspected that i filled too much coolant, so i emptied out the overflow canister, and put it back, so its empty right now. so hopefully tomorrow that noise will be gone. do you guys think i might have damaged something?
also i hear this weird rattling noise somtimes coming from the front drivers side area while driving. its not the same loud metallic clank that i had from the rear when the strut had come loose. i noticed that when it did come, it came from 2000-3000 rpm in 2nd or 3rd gear. but when i stopped the car and popped the hood, and revved the engine using the butterfly valve. no rattle.
also at around 4200 rpm, i hear this high pitched metal squealing/grinding noise. its not very loud at all, but its definetely from the engine, but it disappears as soon as i leave that rpm range, above or below.
also a final problem, that i noticed before the past two days, is that whenever i put it in reverse or first gear and start moving, i hear this metal creaking/clicking sound from the driver side area engine/wheel well. as soon as i hit like 2-3 mph its gone. its sounds as if some bar or part is bending when the car starts moving from a stop, if that makes any sense
ok whew, sorry for the long post, any ideas on anything guys??
