i read the tutorial, but it just said to pry the back and front apart. my question is can you stick it in the oven for a couple minutes instead?

my guess would be yes...i didn't do that and i probably should've. i did one of them just fine, but the other one i ended up cracking the lens. you definitely run the risk of splitting it if you don't heat it up.

On that topic... why's it impossible to remove the lens from the Gen 1.5 corners? I've yet to see one.

I dunno, for the prices at which you can get clears off of ebay, it might be more betterer to just buy them instead of exerting all the effort...

haha i did it but the gen 1.5 is more fragile then the gen 1 if you open it too much it cracks been there done that and baking them did not help me

hehe well i can tell you that 325 degrees and 5 minutes is TOO LONG!!! :D :D

i def warped the hell out of mine, so i just went ahead and bought them off ebay right afterwards. oh well it was worth a shot. but now my car looks ghetto as hell with the corners duct taped on :roll:
