tail lights

i did the search, and i still couldnt find anything..i wanna take my altezzas and paint them the color of my car (silver stream opalescent) and i wanna open them up, should i just pry them open and take a chance, or is there a way they can be baked? and does anyone have pictures?

i tried baking my corner lights to open them up, but i baked too long and they got warped. if you bake, make sure you sit there and stare into the oven. i did 5 minutes at 325 degrees, and that was too long. so try like one or two minutes.

hrrm...i think i like this idea...

i have some altezzas collecting dust and extra diamond white pearl paint at my disposal...

this could be a productive spring break afterall...

you can go ahead and try. AND BREAK THEM. I have tried this. it broke on me. not an easy job to do. Keep in mind that i have done the lexus fog lights conversion by myself. lol, if ur successful, please let me know how u do it. i wanted to do this also.

I actually sent a pm to krawzyazn yesterday about removing the amber part of the tail lights in the 1.5 and he said that it's pretty diffucult to do and I would need a Dremel and a diamond cutting wheel. I have the Dremel and will hopefully do this in the next month or two. I will take pictures of me removing it if you would like to wait and I can check it out before you risk it. Either way I'll take pictures.
