Sorry, haven't checked Solaraguy.com for a while.
I will shed some light on this.
Because the front sway bar is so damn big, (it's close to 200% stiffer than stock), lots of stresses are now put on the U bracket and Chassis instead of the suspension parts.
This is a common problem when you stiffen your suspension, reliability goes out the door.
I broke one bracket last year. The only way to fix it is to buy new U brackets from Toyota, put it in, and drive slowly through bumpy roads so you won't put as much stress on those brackets.
BE GLAD that the brackets CAN break. I tried to sort a solution and see if I can get someone to make those U brackets stronger, yes, I can do it for a fairly cheap price; BUT when you put strengthened bracket in, the stress has to go somewhere. The weakest link will shift from the U Bracket to the chassis. When something breaks again, the U Bracket will not break, but it will literally pull a hole from the chassis, which was a common problem on MKIII Supra.
The U Bracket is meant to be the weakest link. They are also pretty cheap to replace, around 5 bucks for one. I think it's a small price to pay for the flat-cornering experience.
Just drive slowing through bumps or you will see something breaking sooner than you think.
