F/S 1C8 TRD KIT

my parents understand... my money, my car...

but they do get concerned when I haul a bunch of random audio equipment back home... hahaha

IN THEORY, it's supposed to improve the aerodynamics slightly... but w/o a front diffuser/spoiler and rear spoiler (TRD kit calls for NO SPOILER!!) it's ludacris...

I agree...when push comes to shove..you should stand up for what you believe...just slap the kit and i'm betting the wouldn't know it was really there..I consider myself to be the rebel..i came to america against certain people in my extended family wishes, i married (out of the community) against certain extended family wishes...IMO life's too short to wait for nods and approvals, just do it.

ehhhh...i dont think you guys understand...i got one CRAZY ass uncle that will beat the living crap out of me just because he thinks discrimination will get me more tickets.

plus i just got licensed and got a ticket for going 75 in a 65 so that "gives him" every right to just nag day on and day out about my "maniac"-ness.

See Mark a lot of people on the Solara forum went through the same stuff your going through right now. I know Chris parents didn't approve of aftermarket parts before but when he JUST DID IT. They didn't like it at first but learn to accept it. My dad didn't like the idea of me modding my car at first even though he used to do stuff like that. It's like I told you if your uncle hits you either call the cops on him OR you beat F*** out of him. Remember he is your uncle not your FATHER. He only has the rights to tell you what to do up to an extent than it gets out of hand. If you want you can always bring the kit over to my house and we can put it on. Just remember if your family don't got your back on this, the SolaraGuys do. Think about it man.

If he believes in cops discrimination that might just be a couple of them out there cause just ask your uncle how come Samson, Phi, and Chris doesn't get harass around San Jose.

once u put it on, they will not making the hassle at you to take if off (give them 1 month time length though), but of course don't put it on at home :wink:

dude, ur viet right? i'm viet too. u need some help talking to them? i'm good at convincing older folks. or they could see my car and that would help them feel different about urs. Unlike ur parents, my family is cool. they support my modding as long as it's with my own money. My dad helped me put on my kit.

. I also got a ticket and an accident. messed up 3 cars in my family. everything's still cool. Let me know. I'm coming down this weekend. I can go to ur house and talk to them.

^^^ I agree, your Uncle touches you let him hit you while you got some witnesses and teach him a lesson bout trying to abuse whatever authority he has with you, your family and your car.

You paid for the kit and you midas well put it on....if it was an aftermarket kit or something I would say don't but you got the authentic TRD Kit......plus I'm willing to bet your folks won't even know once you install it that its even on until they realize the box is gone and the kit is out the house, just do it at your friends house.

Its true family is forever...SO INSTALL THE FAWKING KIT...they not gonna dis-own you......Your Uncle got something to say or wanna beat ur @$$.....let him.....have your boy there with you to call the cops while he's doing it and I guarantee you he won't mess with you nomore.

just so you guys know my theory about the kit was more so me being sarcastic then serious. Well anyways, this is how you handle this situation. You go up to your uncle with a piece of the kit then while he's watching go out to your car and put it on and be like biaach this is how we do. Then if he trips fall on the ground curl up in a ball and start screaming. You'll win i promise!

2. family is more important than a kit

i never understood the importance and family feel that many of you guys have put into this forum. indeed we are truly a small community that has turned into a family. thanks for all the support. its reallly appreciated
