i'm not sure which one is the rear, but the scan tool said "Bank 1 Sensor 1" - O2 sensor heater circuit malfunction. is that the rear or the front?

thanks,
michael

Bank 1 is the front one but i am not sure if it is ok to add a stimulator. I think if you add it to the stimulator, it will retard the ecu because it just reading same signals.

thanks for clearing that up for me. i also hear a air leak somewhere. it seems to be coming near the intake pipe but below it. it could even be coming from the exhaust or intake manifold. you guys think it could be a bad gasket causing the CEL to go off?

thanks again,
michael

you can put a simulator for the back o2 sensor because its basically there to make sure the cat is there.. .the front you absolutly HAVE to replace

alright i got more problems now :(. after getting my car back from the dealer i heard a ticking noise. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was the fuel injectors. they said it needs to be cleaned. so he recommended me to clean the throtlle body and the fuel injectors. They only thing they supposedly did to my car was replace a hose that they said was burnt, that caused my leak, and replaced the o2 sensor. is it possible the ticking could be something else, because it didn't start until they did the repair. if it is the injectors could it have been caused by the repair they did or is it just a coincidence? also i did clean the throttle body a little bit once but that was a while ago.

if i do just need to clean the fuel injectors, is it possible to clean the injectors without removing the s/c?

Thanks again,
Michael
