trd kit group buy?

any chance we could get one started up? i know there are a lot of us newbies on the forum and most of us are on stock still. if the price is right, i'd go for it.

also, if anyone has a used diamond white TRD kit they want to unload on the cheap, please let me know, too. =)

If you find one it will not be a TRD kit because Toyota/TRD stop making them for the Gen 1-1.5. My guy at Toyota told me that yesterday.

There are a lot of knock offs out there but watch the quality..

I haven't seen a Gen. 1 TRD Kit for sale on this forum since the last groupbuy Molly had before they stopped making them neither.

I bought a TRD kit for my pearl white gen 1.5 in red on ebay for $500, wet sanded it myself, and had it painted by my neighborhood body shop for $320. Buy any real TRD kit you see for a good price, and then find an OK body shop to paint it up for you. Make sure your car is there when they paint the kit, this way they can compare the paint to your car's to try and match it. It is tough to match exactly (even the factory bumpers are slightly different in color than the body), but it can come out close enough that no one can tell from a short distance.

.....you guys are better off trying to get one used from a member on the forum and or finding one on ebay.

.....a few guys are selling theres and this groupbuy isn't gonna happen for you guys b/c the TRD kits aren't in production anymore.
