the wife was complaining about her a/c (2001 se v6) having an oder when its on, so i called up my nearest Toyota dealer and got this stuff called ZAK, it was a bomb fogger(like the kind to kill house hold bugs). freshen it right up. followed up with a vent treatment , now smells like it was a new car again. :P

each dealer has their own aftermarket a/c system cleaner. Our brand is MOC. There's a bunch out there and I think they all work the same =P

You just need to do it twice a year (before summer/after summer) and you're set for life... if it doesn't smell, you obviously don't have to =P

Never used those products honestly, i do fabreeze it (and yeah, i spary into the vents too??) occationally! good info to know if it starts smelling...
