Tein springs keeps sagging and sagging

I really dont know If I should be happy but I have tein springs for about 6 months now and they have sag over the past 6 months when I got the springs on there was 2 finger gap after 5 months it became 1 finger gap
this week I notice it there is no more gap couldnt even put my pinkie there fully I also notice the steering noises when slowly turning left and right I will hear a creaking noise sounds like the springs or the tokicos are rubbing into something does anyone have the same problem? Damn I love the drop but I fell a little bit shady with the sagging.....

did you add aftermarket struts... if not... your struts are worn and the springs are being worn out due to excessive oscillation (don't sepll check me lol)

no I bought the tokico/tein combo brand new as for performance everything is the same ride quality is great, I know some springs will sag from time to time but 6 months is too soon, also the steering noises scares me alot

I had eibachs on my Acc and they held up great for 3 years...sold the car since....I dont know if I can trust any aftermarket companys anymore....unless they have worked with manufacturers....Examples being K&N, Eibach, Bilstien....The car is made stock for a reason...anytime you screw with the suspension geometry of the car your always gonna have headaches....

That statement makes no sense... however the car is produced is considered stock... Example: Nissan has Brembos as an option on the Z

I would contact Tein and see what they can do for you... they have a anti-sag (2 inches in like 12 or 24 months or something) policy

I think Dutch Master is trying to say that the car was built like that for a reason and if you modify what they did it might lead to problems in the future.

I dont know but I'm guessing you might've not gotten the proper shocks to fit your springs -- you would've needed adjustable shocks -- anyways you should also know that you have to 'break-in' springs for a period of 2 weeks w/ soft driving. If you drive it by yourself, and take it easy it will settle and 1-1.5'' lower ride height. If you ratpack you can expect a 1.5-2.25" drop.

Jeff: how can one know if the struts are bad? The ride quality obviously...but how? I'm still not bouncing like tigger..I ask as i'm now on 15K on OEM struts and going strong...

The TEIN set up for the Solara has adjustable shocks and struts, they have tree adjustments: ride hight, downward force control, and rebound control. The ride hight adjustment is set by a funky bolt type "thing" and it has to be locked after adjusting to the desired ride hight. If it is not properly locked, the shock or strut will continue to get lower over time untill it reaches the bottom of the threds (at which time threds will be ruined). We dont have shocks. Its Struts and Springs for our rides.

Thats the tein SS coilovers. Were talking about the springs here. Most likely, he got the Tien S-tech springs and Tokico blue HP struts.

Are both sides, front and back sagging? or is it just one corner, just front, just rear, etc?
