Yeah i got one.
It just that the kg's are different.
TRD radiator cap has different boilin' point for coolant to pass from the reservior to the engine. [ i think that right]

I have one of those. There are two caps offered for the Solara. One for the V-6 and the other is used on the I-4... Have any of you guys seen the Anti-Freeze seep out of the reservior cap opening around the lip??? You can see the coolant build-up along the cap. Is this normal???

Thanks in advance guys,
-G :)

There may be a difference in system pressure. Get the one for your engine and you can not go wrong!!

Hello Greg,

Its the reservior plastic cap area. I think i might have found a solution to this reoccuring issue. To solve this, i've applied some clear silicone chalk on the plastic's outer ring (the area where the cap pops into the bottle) to help seat the reservior cap to the odd shaped bottle. I believe the coolant is seeping through because of the poor blow mold injection process Toyota uses. Hopefully this helps everyone out with this seeping problem.
