I was thinking about ordering a TRD kit for my 2001 Solara, however it says this as the description:

"These high quality 7-piece body kits have been redesigned by TRD to match the new 2002 through current Solara coupe's front fascia. Add a great, sporty look to your Solara with this body kit."

What exactly do they mean by this if they dont have a picture? and how does this affect fitting of the parts?

I was thinking the front end might look like this one http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/354934
As far as fitting goes I have no clue so if anyone has any info on this let me know.

The side skirts and back will fit fine. The front takes some modification. Take a look in the DIY/Tutorial section there is a post about installing gen 1.5 kits on gen 1 solaras.

I have the kit for the 2002-2003 body and it says: "NOTE: Picture shows 1999-01 version. 2002 version does not incorporate recess."
The recess they are talking about is in the underside of the front center of the kit, where the kit naroows out near the middle of the front bumper. In that location there is a screw which the 99-01 kit hides with a recess, the 02-03 does not. According to the intall manual for the 02-03 TRD kit I have, this is the only difference.

I would love to show you what was done to the engine, but I would have to remove the head (far to risky, and far to much work). I haven't done anything under the hood (excluding the TRD strut tower brace) except the inside of the engine. I am not completely sure what was done, I paid for it to be "built up," and that's what they did. Here is what I do know: Bore was increased (bore times stroke equals displacement), Plasma-Moly rings were added, H-beam connecting rods added, piston crowns were treated with a heat resistant "dry film"coating, valve bottoms and combustion chambers were ceramic coated. Long story short: My cylinders evacuate almost completely! Head, intake manifold, and exhaust manifold were also ported and polished. All of this to prepare the engine for a T3/T4 Hybrid ceramic ball bearing turbocharger. I am waiting for Scionspeed to finish their Solara I4 turbo kit and then I can only hope that this Solara might have some chance of keeping up with my old Volvo 850!

Does anyone know what wheels are on that Solara from the link http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/354934 ??? I don't mean the factory wheels (obviously) but rather the wheels lower down the page.
