What do you guys think of these flywheels? Do they give decent performance for the money? Like 300 bucks i think on ebay. Are there other lighter/better/cheaper flywheels, or is this one pretty good?

It'a very good product. I've had one for almost 3 years on my car, and it's been great. I had heard that going to a lightweight flywheel might mean some rougher idling and having to rev a little higher when engaging the clutch, but these have never been an issue. I do have to rev a little higher when strating up a hill, but it's not a big deal. Overall, I've been very pleased with it.

I hear nothing but great stuff with the flywheel. Try upgrading your clutch while you're at it.

It's worth the $300 as long as the labor already has to be done for the clutch. From a seat of your pants dyno, right after it is installed, you can tell it spins up in the RPM range more quickly.

Im looking at getting this ACT clutch, and getting the flywheel and doing both at the same time. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... ename=WDVW

ANybody got an opinion of how im doing this? SHould i go with a different manufacturer? I plan on modding my car quite a bit, so I want a good strong durable clutch and flywheel assembly. Your guys help is appreciated!

You can also get a lightened flywheel from SPEC. I purchased mine from them few weeks back. A lightened flywheel will help you get to your powerband quicker too. I've been very happy with it since switching over to a lighter flywheel.

Sorry to dig up this thread, but I'm curious. Would this work on an auto? If so, would it be worth it?

Nope. Only for manual transmissions.
