im thinking of doing the 70k tune myself :D ......what woul you guys advise???? :oops: or should i just take it some where$$$$??? :evil: :roll: thinking of buying All spark plugs , filters,etc online/autozone .......i have tools....but not sure :o :roll: im in the north san fernando valley...HELP!

toyota adviced replced change spark plug, tranny flush, radiator flash and timing belt and water pump at 60k service. i am not sure if you want to mess with the stuffs by yourself

really??? haynes manual says 90k for the belt and nothing about the water pump.

I agree with bassthrive. Belt at 90k is fine for our cars, and there shouldnt be a problem with the pump if you maintain the coolant right.

Plugs, tranny, and coolant would be on my list for 60k, all DIYable if you know what your doing. Should be the second time you do the coolant flush (Every 30k).

60K

Auto Transaxle Fluid (ATF) 4 qts, I believe
Oil change (duh)
Coolant (30K intervals)

That's all... but I do recommend getting Toyota ATF fluid and Coolant... filters can be bought elsewhere... if you get the wrong fluid, you're boned.

Depending on which spark plugs you have, you may have to change them... some were 90K and some were 60K... check your manual. I'm too lazy to check for you... but I think it's 90K if it's the same ones in the ES300

if you missed it... you may want to flush it... at least, that's what I did when I missed my first trans fluid change.
