Solara - Share any bloodline with Lexus SC400???

Just wondering if the Solara is 100% Camry 2 door coupe, or is there any
chance of a component of the SC400 shared. This Solara is the closest I will ever get to owning a Lexus.....

The engine/platform and everything is currently being shared by Camry platform (along with Sienna, Highlander)...
As per Solara SC relationship...both were delvepoped by the CA designers at the same plant....internally..(especially the wood overlays) are very similar. So in a way you could classify them as being "long lost cousins"...so hence...YEAH..they are very similar!

The new solara is actually going to be similar to a lexus SC430. It was designed by the same italian designer. The solara is going to break away from the camry a little bit, and its backseat is going to shrink.

Many people ask me if my car is the same as a lexus SC300 because they look very similar. They don't have much in common though except for looks

The SC400 is a V-8. The SC300 has a 2jzge (N/A supra engine) engine. The numbers in a lexus model tell you the engine displacemnet.
For example: SC400 = 4.0L ....... IS300 = 3.0L
Both are RWD so that means the drive train completly different, I don't know about the frame but I HIGHLY doubt it is the same as the solara. So basically other than the slight resemblence, the cars are not a like at all.

nope, still cant see the pic (both links wont work!)

umm, by sideways V do you mean L (standing for lexus)
and if youre asking what the toyota symbol is supposed to be it's a T (standing for toyota of course)
