Which is heavier the cloth seats of the leather seats??
2000 Solara SE auto V6. Diamond White Pearl.
Top Speed Run finished at 130 mph. :o
Too many modifcations for the signature.

Most definitly the Leather seats due to the electric motor that drive the seat fuctions (setting it high, low, tilt, etc.). :D

my cloth seats do that (high, low,tilt,)

Man, It might be cheaper to reholster the cloth seats to custom leather/ escain/ suede than to purchase a brand new seat assembly. :o :fadein:

No actually you may get them cheaper if you don't go OEM. Just check out the companies that are compatable with that gen. eBay is always a good starting point.

MuShRoOmFaCe has his Gen 1 leather seats.
Mine are cloth wit the driver havein' power to it.
I was thinkin' about get his rear leather bench seat.
And maybe front one to.

LOL! SpeedStars: Power seats come in cloth and fabric options!I know people have their own preferances, i love leather, but i hate perforated leather that gen1's came with (the ones with holes in it).

SleeperSolara - what are you trying to do, weight reduction...in that case go aftermarket!

I thought it was unperforated. My friend has a Gen1 with leather and I think its unperforated, pleated leather. I dont like the pleats.

What are pleates? ??
I assumed perforated meant leather with holes - to allow them to breadth. I know my camry's got the reg. leatehr (assuming thats nonperforated) and i like that!
