I forget the number, but the TRD has street and track settings. Whiteline only has one setting. The TRD street setting is a less stiff setting than the whiteline, but the track setting is more stiff.

I think its equal to 21mm for TRD - street, and 25mm for track, and the whiteline is 23mm, but I could be wrong.

EDIT - as corrected below by other member, Its:

19mm for TRD - Street
21mm for TRD - Track
20mm for Whiteline.

I got mine from Eddie over at Kinderhook, good guy and he used to be a member here (Gen4 Camry owner I think)

http://www.kinderhooktoyota.com/trd.htm

$150 shipped new

I recommend TRD since you can run it stiffer, has two settings, and Ive heard about more squeaking issues with the whiteline than the TRD.

Hey SleeperSolara,

The Whiteline rear sway bar is a 20mm fixed rate.
Part number is BTR39.
You can order from www.185performance.com or www.globalperformanceparts.com/
I got my Whiteline sets (BTF38 [24mm], BTR39 [20mm]) for $284 shipped from 185.
Installed on a Gen 4 Camry and a Lexus ES300.

The TRD rear sway bar is 19mm adjustable rate.
So you get 19mm street setting or about 21mm on track setting.

Just for additional information Addco and Intrax (22mm front / 19mm rear) also make sway bar sets for the Gen 4 Camry / Gen 1 Solara.

I got the TRD rear sway bar set on track track settings and prefer this over the Whiteline rear sway bar because you can adjust between street & track settings.

I don't think it's a question of which one is better, as they're both good quality. It really depends on what kind of handling balance you want. With the stock front bar, either one is fine. As others have said, the TRD is nice because you can adjust the settings. If you go for a thicker front sway bar, then I'd recommend getting the TRD rear bar and putting in on TRACK setting. Both bars will eventually squeak.
