Welcome, nice first post, can you be more specific about how it's up to something? Where do you live? That may factor in. Also check out the introductions section when you have time.

Well, they look like little cirlces, like water spots but i dont think they are. Their white and they seem to be almost in the paint. So far their apearing all over the top of my truck and roof, but not on my hood at all.

I Zainoed my Solara last year and the clay bar gave new life to my paint. The only thing that I am suspicious of is that on my mirrors and door handles the paint now looks gray instead of the tan original color. It is a very faint color difference and you may not notice unless you are like me and know every inch of your car.

^^^^ answer to that is that the paint on our cars do not stick to metal the same as they stick to plastic.....an example of this are the bumpers.....

A day ago I took my car to a local body shop. The guy said my clear coat is starting to come off, so that explains the wierd looking circles appearing on my trunk

My car is an every day driver and it is holding up great. However I think it does make a difference whether you park your car in the garage daily or its outside (my solara is in the garage). Cause my 98 Camry is having some paint problems and I park it outside all the time

I parked my 2000 outside but it was covered most of the time. I never had any problems with the paint. Mine was Fairway Green. As far as the 04 well yeah "Big Red" stays in the garage.

I bought the car used, and I'm pretty sure the previous owners parked the car in the sun alot. But I also live in Florida.

My DWP Solara parks outside. Paint is perfect save for the rear bumper which you can tell a "slight" difference in color from the rest of the car but it's not bad at all.

If the clearcoats coming off, it might have been repainted. I dont think many solaras have paint problems with factory paint, other than the chrome on the grill.
