Updated 5/10/05

AVAILABLE:

* Front Whiteline Swaybar painted RED, no bushing. $100 shipped
$70 local pickup
Image

* TRD Molley Design kits in BLACK.
Condition:
Good on 2 side skirts, 2 back skirts. All you need is M3 tapes to install them.
Image
Image
Missing one front driver side one since I lost that in the accident. (it's available at http://www.partznet.com/toyota/solara/t ... parts.html for $229.99 unpainted)
The other one has sratches at the bottom (only viewable when you bend down to look from bottom up)
Image
View from bottom up
Image
View from the front.

The Rear Center Valance is good, got burnt on the bottom due to the Greddy Evo was too close to it. Only visible when bending down to look at it from the ground up.
Image

Advantage: you only need to find a driver front valance (being real Molley kit or fiberglass from ebay). All other are good with Black Sand Pearl Painted, just need to find 3M tapes to install them. Lately in the forum, there were some pretty good deal on the TRD kits but those were long gone, and the black is rare

Disadvantage: shipping is a deal killer here. The UPS quoted me a box & handling of $80, not including shipping, wft, those suckers.

So give me your best offer and your location and I'll see. I'd prefer those around the driving distance (so we could meet half way or something like that), however, I don't mind shipping them.

PENDING PAYMENT:

* Brand new BREMBO cross-drilled brake rotors (2 fronts, 2 rear)
Jai

* Brand new OEM front brake pads ---------------- $20 shipped.
Jon

* Gen 1 OEM corner light (a pair)
* Gen 1 OEM grill
methyl mike

SOLD

* TRD Supercharger SOLD & personal delivered
* Rear TRD swaybar with bushing. SOLD & Shipped
* Gen 1 tail light. SOLD & Shipped.
* Greddy Evo II catback stainless exhaust system. SOLD & personal delivered
* HID kits. SOLD & Shipped

Anyone interested in my Carputer toys?

Fenix wrote:Ok ladies and gentlements,
For as much as I love the solara and mod it, I'm forced to leave this hobby for good. Since my accident last March (DUI, my fault), my insurance premium has doubled on me. My court day is coming soon on May 16, and from what i heard from those lawyers that I consulted, most likely my license will be suspensed for ONE whole years with all the laywers' fee, court's fee and drunking driving class. I'll be restricted to drive to/from work and to school, but since I take bus/subway to work, I don't really need to drive a car. Pending on the court's outcome, I might need to sell my recently bought 5spd black on black solara too. Plus, I just bought a condominium, so I'm getting out of the modified hobby.

FYI, I don't drive my car everyday. I take the bus/metro to work daily. I drive my car to school 2 nights per week, and on the weekend to go around. I'm not into street racing, so I don't push my stuffs that hard.

Well, enough with all the blah blah blah, here is what I have to offer and more more coming. Contact me via PM or YIM: fenix295@yahoo.com is my nick.

I've been around the board for a while, not any newbie trying to screw people off. People in the East Coast can vouch for me. I've been buying stuffs from you guys all over the board as well.

Paypal is welcomed but please add 2% of total price to cover the fee for me please. Otherwise, personal check is ok but need to clear it first though.

* Brand new BREMBO cross-drilled brake rotors (2 fronts, 2 rear)
Bought on Ebay few weeks ago for $168 + $49 shipped = $217
Sale for $160 shipped. SALE PENDING

* Brand new OEM front brake pads ---------------- $20 shipped. SALE PENDING

* TRD Supercharger with everything. I bought the s/c alone from other member from this board on MD/DC/VA meet last November. He has it on his car for like 3K miles before selling it to me. Bought all the extra stuffs to make it happen, and got the s/c installed on Feb 05 by Carlos Jr who did work on Rizal, JoeB and Greg's cars. I'd driven the s/c car for less than 1k miles before I totaled it with my DUI on March 21st. I took it out at the shop with everything and some.
Here is what you get, pictures will come soon.
The s/c itself.
4lb pulley
Belt tension/belt and whatever
TRD front strut bar
Magnecor KV85 Plug Wires 8.5 mm (red) installed the same time with the s/c
EBC for the automatic.
EGR tube for automatic.
2 brand new Denso Iridium sparkplug IK 22 since last time I ordered 6 at autozone, they gave me 8.
Well, basically all you automatic gen 1 out there need is to buy 4 more Denso sparkplug and you're all set. For those 5spd, you will have to buy the EGR tube.
I'm asking $1,700 for everything plus shipping. Pickup is welcome. Believe me, I spent almost 3G and almost 2 months to order parts to get the s/c installed on my car.

* Front Whiteline Swaybar painted RED, no bushing. $100 shipped? SALE PENDING
* Rear TRD swaybar with bushing, $100 shipped? SALE PENDING
* 1 set of Gen 1 tail light in perfect condition $70 shipped.
* 1 set of Gen 1 OEM corner light in perfect condition. $30 shipped.
Ebay has it for $25 + 7 shipping for each
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... gory=33708

* 1 OEM Gen 1 front grill in perfect condition, no chipping, no cracked, not as new of course, but perfect condition. Took out from my previous automatic 2000 solara when I got the customized grill. $100 shipped compared to the one on ebay was sold for $123 + $16 shipped.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... gory=33640

* Greddy Evo II catback stainless exhaust system. Good condition, got some sratched on the lower muffler since my car was dropped. This is kinda heavy, and I don't have the box for it to ship but we could work out the deal. Local and pickup are welcome. Bought for $520 shipped, asking $300 + whatever shipping if needed.

I have a lot more stuffs coming once I go home and take pictures. PM me with you dibs, offers, low ball or whatever. First come first server. Prices are only lower, not higher. Those are always here first for fellow Solaraguys, next will be Ebay. I don't really have any problem selling on ebay, just that some here might want them.

------------------------------
More stuff
* TRD Molley Design kits in BLACK. Missing one front driver side one since I lost that in the accident. Give me an offer on those, it's hard to ship i guess.

* McCouchlo (i can't seem to remember this brandname) ballasts with every wires, even with one HID 5600K bulb. $100 shipped
You can buy a pair of bulbs at ebay for another 100 or less and you have the full HID setup.

I second that! I know this must be really hard on him, so in the spirit of good support we should make sure he's getting good value for his parts. (And he's covered on shipping.)

Best of luck to you bro! You may want to tell the judge what you're doing and going through. (Lost your car that you worked so hard to build ; you're willing to take the bus instead of being permitted to drive to and from work ; you sold all the parts and gave up on a hobby that meant a lot to you.... etc.) The key is to convey the message that you personally have made a turning point in your life that will remind you every day of the mistakes made. Judicial punishment is your contribution to society, but the internal punishment you've got to endure is what will change your mind the next time you get behind the wheel.

Remember, some Judges want to see a sincere change in behavior as opposed to pure hardship and no lesson learned. Discuss this with your attorney to get the opportunity to speak your mind. Feel free to bring pictures (on a single sheet) to help illustrate the losses you've suffered.

Chin up. You're handling it great.

Dont' panic bro.

I'm sure that you plug the bulb in incorrected, :-), because when I got the kit brand new from Mark, I ran into the same problem. Ii was panic contacted him that night as well and later on found out I hooked it wrong. It's like the U shape that you have to match the ballast and the connector.

The pictures I took was before I packed the box, it worked with both ballasts. Give it another try, please.

Sorry for the trouble.
