has anyone done this yet? do you think it would turn out good? i just had the idea, like make the leds inside the housing, not as a bulb but set them up in rows....

I thought about it...got as far as drilling holes in the lense for the LEDs...but I don't have the electrical know-how on how to do it.

It would be pretty neat, but I dont know what to do about the big hole where the bulb would usually be

yea because u need a resistor, the way u have it setup, ur car thinks the bulb is dead because the leds dont use that much power as the reguler 1156 bulb or watever bulb uses. so it thinks its dead, with not much resistance to it, i think the relay makes it bling faster. Im gonna add resisotrs to my led setup.

not really, not even the same concept either, he has the strip leds, im gettn about 300 to work with, 300 single ones, i think per corner i should have used about 30-40 leds that total would draw half of wat the current bulb requires. and mine are not gonna be in a row like that, if u check ur corners the mirror near the bulb is in a circulur way. im gonna follow that and drill holes within each little triangle and put a led in each, that setup there will be about 20 leds, then there will be another 5 in the front and another 5 more leds where the orange reflector used to be in the stock corner. im not gonna add more places but i might take out some. i think it should look REALLY hot. but thats my opinion. :D
