if its got fluids in it and it makes a circuit through the transmission, then it should be fine. make sure you put in extra fluid.

facing the engine, then i believe the right tube is the hot.

you can either bypass the radiator all together or combine the new tranny cooler along with the radiator.

to get the fluids right, you should uninstall the system and fill the removed pieces (hoses and cooler) with something (i dont imagine water would be safe, trans fluid might be too expensive i dont know.) then pour it into a container and measure it. thats how much you should add to the factory amount. i do know that getting the fluid level wrong can cause goofy shifting, i doubt it would mess it up too much though.

if it shifts too quickly, then you have too much fluid. (let the motor 100% warm up before making this decision)

if the shifts drag out into a high rpm range, try adding a good little bit.

if im way way off then please someone say somethin.

I added 5 quarts, and too lazy on tryin' to check how much i needed, i think i have enough in the tranny.
Was figurin' out which is hot and cold side for OEM tranny cooler, facin' the engine though.
I put my "L" tubin' on the right.
One person side right tube is hot, other say cold.
Was askin' people who've done it which one did they tap into.
