2004 4Runner oil filter

I just found that the 03-05 4Runner's oil filter has the same diameter as the Solara. Same price but the 4runner's oil filter is a little longer. Do you think it would be beneficial to use it on our Solara?

I don't see how it could hurt.

I need to double check the filter number when i get back home. I think the Sequoia has the same filter as the 4runner.

Have you guys ever tried it in the Solara? I will try it in my next oil change (coming up in 3 weeks). I will let you know how well it goes.

The filter is $3.69 cents from Longo Toyota with the coupon.

i did, yes it will work, but think this way, it will be too close to the front header because of the length is longer than the v6...

so it's up 2 ur decision.
