Correct pressure for tires on aftermarket wheels?

Correct pressure for tires on aftermarket wheels?

Just wondering what the correct inflation for a set of aftermarket 18" wheels are. I noticed that for stock, its 29 for 15"s and 32 for 16"s so I was wondering if it keeps going up if you keep plus-sizing. Thanks in advance.

Sidewall will only tell you maximum PSI. Recommended pressure depends on load and can be found on the driver's door sill, but like Jon said, it doesn't list specs for plus sized wheels.

Tire rack airs up most aftermarket 17's and 18's to 35psi. You can adjust from there depending on personal preference and driving application.

35psi seems pretty decent for carving corners, can be jarring on rough roads, bad for launching.

Most people suggest 40 PSI (cold) for low profile tires. I, personally, go with 37 :D

32-35psi for me, the more you go, i've heard you get better milage....but my current 15 inch tires are 47K miles old - so i must be doing somethign right??
