aight so when im driving and i hit a bump (speed bump or any uneven road) i hear this noise around my strut area ,,it sounds as if there was something loose i really dont know how to explain it ..its louder in the passenger side ..
any sugestions would be appreciated this shut is driving me insane

do you have stock suspension? I do believe this is a common problem for Gen1 (maybe 1.5?) and if you are still under warranty, I'd take it to a dealership. I had a similar problem about 2 yrs ago and took it to the dealership and they replaced the struts. If you are not under warranty, might want to upgrade, and if you have already upgraded... then you might want to take it to a shop where they can check it out for you. Hope this helps.

havent upgrade yet i have the tein springs in my garage but having some issues getting strus over here in germany.. i was told to check the links ..does anyone know how to check if ur links are bad

Sounds like the struts to me bro. I have a Gen. 1 with the same problem......I'm waitens on getting my drops so I'm not worried about it.

In my case the passenger side is going and the driver side isn't too bad yet but if yours is really shot, I would agree with what "that1mexguy" stated above.

might be loose sway bar bushing or bolts. if not, check the spring seating bushing (I am not sure if the name is right, it is the rubber pieces at top and lower portion of the spring)

Holy crap King, I have the smae PROBLEM! sounds like a clash on the bottom and near the front passenger side area, right? DAmn, we need to fix this problem!

its the rubber piece on top of the spring... i don't have it on my car and i hear that sound all the time.
