I don't know if this is the right forum, but I'm going for it anyhow.

I've been planning on debadging my Solara of the "SLE V6" 's and the 80's style "TOYOTA" for a while, and possibly the "solara emblem as well" but I've been planning on leaving the Toyota symbol as I'm a Toyota guy and proud of it.

Anyhow I found these on toyotaterritory.com. I know that toyota territory was blacklisted on the bad vendors thread in the FAQ forum, and I was wondering if A) anyone has seen these elsewhere B) anyone has had a good experience with toyotaterritory.com and maybe I could go thru them or C) a good DIY to make mine look like these... (the black pearl ones)

I'd love the solara and toyota emblems in that color on my car, but just don't know if these guys are reputable at all, if I could get them anywhere else, or if theres a DIY method that will make them look just as good utilizing inexpensive yet quality products as I don't want to pay 100 bucks for a couple emblems.

Thanks.

I've never bought from those guys, so I couldn't tell you how they are. I did however, try some black pearl paint, but it came out really grey. It didn't look as good as the original and I'm also not going to pay over a $100 bucks for a couple of emblems. So, I just painted my Toyota symbol on the grille with some touch-up spray paint in black sand pearl.

You should get your emblems painted white to outstand the black paint.
Or shave all it off.
That my 2 cents.
