Simple supply and demand. There is no demand for OEM struts. A simple case I can state is where I offered Pearl99_Solara my 1.5 tail lights for his 1.0 tail lights + $50... he said no since the 1.5 are obviously worth less than the 1.0...

Later, due to demand and NO supply... he ended up paying a lot more for the Gen 1.5 lights than previously planned (not sure what the exact deal was, nor does it really matter)...

I can argue my suspension was built for sport specifications by a company aimed for motorsports excellence... while you can only reach the conclusion that you have a stock suspension... and it sounds like the car was in a front end collision due to the post you made (buying a front end of a car... essentially)

I can spend all day making childish remarks regarding your education and such, but no positive end could come of it. However, pointing out that an aftermarket suspension is worth more than a OEM suspension is the lesson I've sought out for you. In most cases, a general spring/strut suspension would be almost an even trade w/ a stock suspension (oem owner pays labor or does it...) but a premium suspension's price would obviously trump the OEM.

As most people here know, I'm never desperate to sell parts from my car. If the time is right and most of the parts are sold, the parts will be sold... otherwise I can leave the car modded for the rest of its life (it's a Toyota... it will surely outlive us both)

Lowball offers don't work on a forum where the supply is moderate and the demand is low unless there's a motivated seller. If you were on a Honda forum, however, you'd get the best prices and parts availability.

As Rufus129 stated, OEM is better. Why not just get the OEM hood? The sheet metal is far superior to the piece of fiberglass covered by Carbon Fiber! Shoot, why not keep your stock suspension? As you said, it's DESIGNED FOR YOUR CAR. It must be better than the JIC, TEIN, Eibach/Tokico, BnG, Bilstein, TRD, Vogtland, D2, etc suspensions! We only purchase these aftermarket suspensions because we all can't afford to replace it w/ OEM parts... OH WAIT! The OEM parts are CHEAPER than the premium suspension setups! Who knew?! Oh wait, I DID!

To recap,

1. This is not a Honda forum. Don't lowball unless you see the motivated seller.

2. Calling me a woman... you must hate yourself if you have to hate women... to me, that comment is neither an insult or a compliment. It's simply an ignorant remark.

3. OEM is designed by those who need a car to drive. The aftermarket scene is designed by those who need a car to live (Don't take me literally...)

4. We can see through people that don't know what they are talking about... but at least they exist so we can throw a baseball to them.

5. Personal attacks discount credibility while quoting the facts builds credibility and 'schools' the newbs.

Good day.

if you guys are such experts with supply and demand, you carry your own audience to the game because your cheerleaders bounced on your bitchasses, I guess you really feel that retaliation on this matter will substantiate your purpose in life. Actually Jeff, if you really think about what supply and demand is, why dont you type T-E-I-N in ebay, and see what you come up with. And then after you realize that their are more TEIN suspensions for sale than Bic Pens at Staples, take the ink sitting next to you and tell your Alter Ego to write across your forehead, SSABMUD, then go look in the mirror and smile with your lipstick on and kiss yourself baby
