good idea man! about how far back are you mounting it on the hood?

just dont mount it too far forward, it will look silly

Since it is an induction type scoop I placed it on my old OEM steel hood for placement. I think about 2 to 3" from the end nearest the windshield and centered. I just left the garage working on it. Of course I got the game in the garage with me. LOL - SA by one at half time.

Nice bro. You may want to double check the use of bypass valves with a forced inducted car. I believe it explains why not to use it. www.aempower.com

As you know I only drive in the rain if I get caught out when the rain moves in. My intent is to use the valve for those rare instances where mother nature pulled a fast one me. If I head out in the morning on my once a week drive and rain is within 100 miles, Silverlicious is a no go..

FYI: depending on muula...and sone oldies here know this...i might be going for the celica-rc hood vent (reverse scoop) but i've been saying that since 02..so god knows?

Well my custom high flow chrome oil filter came in today and it is awesome. Comes complete with cleaning solution for reusable filter and warranty.

The look is to die for..
