I finally got the GEN1 Solara DYNO’d. I’m kind of happy on the numbers generated. The torque is a little low though IMO... I had this DYNO tuning done last week at GODSPEED Novi MICH. I must say it was exciting to watch the runs. The cool thing about that perticular day was that the temperture outside was 73F with 43% humdity...

yea seems kinda low even with headers, intake safc and jim fuel kit, and with the full JPP setup

To answer some question, I'm currently running with 93 Octane and not TURBO BLUE (110 octane). The Solara is a SLE auto... As far as I know the gentlemen at GODSPEED told me that the numbers are generated on net Wheel Horse Power. It looks about right just from observations on other peoples DYNO runs posted at the shop. For example, the reference I used was a run listed for the Subaru STI with a couple of mods of course. Furthermore, the DYNO tech was able to get the fuel trim to 0-to-1% adjusted on the Super AFC II controler... His or her numbers were listed 253.7 HP (known that the stock flywheel HP is rated at 300HP with 300LBS of torque. At the moment, i realize just from the higher band of the RPM's, the car is still starving for fuel or not enough of it. I have the 190 Walbo fuel pump on order (hopefully to cram more fuel in the motor). I'll also be looking into 320cc-310cc RC Engineering injector to accommadate the fuel flow. good stuff... but you may want to look for a DynoJET dyno... they are the best w/o BSing any results. It will give you raw wheel horse power/torque measurements and will adjust for atmospheric conditions...

Higher altitudes and humidity plays quite a toll on supercharged engine performance... so ya... the numbers are low due to that.
