there's no right way to use touch up paint. The best detailers (some train to use it! we have one GREAT detailer that knows how...) can't even get it right.

Touch up paint is available to cover paint botches so that metal parts don't rust... it's not for beauty (for the most part)

im gonna try some polish with mine in the upcoming days,...i'll let you ya'll know how it turns out on my desert sand. My uncle who works at a body shop says the trick to touch up paints is to get it INSIDE the blemishes. So maybe with a q-tip or something instead of the brush it comes with.

do me a favor. if you have a girlfriend, tell her to do the painting. i had my girlfriend do touch up paint for me on my front right bumper and its one nice layer of touch up paint. (its all those skills of painting their fingernails and toenails that is put to test when they use touch-up-paint for your car)

It depends on the color. Some are very unforgiving. Silver, black, red tend to show alot of defects in the paint. Also the touchup is a single stage paint. Most of our cars are three stage. Looks great, pain in the arse to touchup/blend.

Touch up paint is just that, touch up paint. It is meant to touch up minor nicks or scratches. For the areas I see in most of these pics you're going to need a body shop to fix them.

As an example I recently had some areas repainted on my car. Now my car is 1C4 and we determined there are no less then 7 shades of 1C4. Also keep in mind the shade of your paint changes to due weather, washing, waxing and just plain old aging. So for small spots, go with touch up and anything bigger then a minor chip or scratch, head to the body shop and get it done right.

I'm thinking of having my entire car repainted. Not sure about the color yet.

Good Luck

$200 is a good deal? I thought it would be a rip-off!
