Man, you guys must not want to talk or don't want to say something bad about the tint. Come on, someone has some input. :(

How is everybody's holding up?

I want yellow fogs on my solara. Is this the only option? I though I could just buy yellow 9006 bulbs. Has anyone had trouble with the 9005 retrofit?

Well I found out one of the answers - this is not the only way, but it is the best way.

Does the $100 include the 9006 bulbs?

Yanks! How are ya? :D

Sorry for the delay. I don't know why I did not get an e-mail showing a new post.

Still got 9005 bulbs on mine and it's been almost 10 months.

Let me know if you are still interested in the retro fit. $100 includes everything. You just got to send me your fog lamps. Hell I'll even retro fit some 9005 bulbs if you send me a set.

This goes for anyone else still interested. I had two more people say they wanted but backed out on the last minute.

Return shipping is 2 days. Give me a day to do the retro.

hskrsolara wrote:Quick question. For all you guys that have the retrofitted fogs, how is the light output compared to stock? I love the look of the retros, but am concerned about their ability to "light up the road" like my silverstars in stock lenses do now. Does the yellow tint help? Thanks in advance.

Yellow tint? Never done that. Someone else did but I would think that would dim the light even more.

Let me tell you. . . The light output on the road is incredible with the retro fit! Especialy if you go 9005.

Just scroll on the pages to see some pics. Sorry for not responding earlier.
