Those look like they are made for the gen 1/1.5 form the picture. The seats look exactly the same.

Looks nice!!

It says "for your '05 Toyota Solara." I don't see one for the Gen 1/1.5

well i finished my sills. they look great. i ended up making them from polished 304 stainless as the aluminum didnt polish up as expected.

now if i can just silk screen some letters on

anyone have any idea where or how i silk screen letters? i know nothing about silk screening..i will look it up later when i have more time and post pics of my finished product.

any ideas about text "solara".. i would think "sticker" text would look ghetto

where can i buy silk screen lettering?

That's cool :D You should decide on what you'll be doing to modify it. I think putting more double sided tape to fill the gap would probably do.
Man, I can't wait to see some pics...

finished mine. look geat! made em from thin (.060")titanium. i found the thicker type to not look as good. i like the thin style much better. also i was not sure how the rubber surround on the bottom of the door would react always being pushed against the thick sills.

stenciled in the solara lettering/line design w/ a "brush" font and in black.

i can not find my digi cam.. ill take some w/ my phone (1.5 mp camera should be ok quality)

i have some test sills left over if you all want to finish them and mount them on your cars..what needs to be done to them is the following
-deburr (get rid os sharp edges on some)
-polish (titanium is much easier to get a nice finish than alum.)
- lettering/design if you want
-apply exterior red 3m tape and mount

and i have

-1 set of thin titanium(.060") (only downside to this set is i made the end opposite of what the stockers were like. instead of the radius bowing out it faces in. ill post a pic later today

-2 sets of thick aluminum(.180") down side to these is i had a hard time getting a consistant finish. you will need to completely redo the polish job. sand, steel wool, polish

-1 set of medium aluminum (same as above)

anyone host pics so i can post them? lmk thanks

What it needed was just a small trim at the lip on the right side. No extra tape needed. Fits like a hand in a glove and not the O.J. glove   .

Sounds great. I'd like to see them. How big of a zip file are your pics?
