aight here's my problem when i got my car the ex-owner told me he was using synthetic oil and that the oil change was just done. 1,500 miles later my car is bone dry of oil i took it to the shop to get an oil change and the guy was surprised i even made it there. he tells me that theres a process you got to follow or a brake-in cycle ( confused ) if ur going from regular oil to synthetic and that in other words that with time i was going to need a new engine.
need help or input on if his correct or not
if he is im selling the car

thanks in advance ( sorry for not searching this before posting im at work and not really suppose to be in any type of forum)

Yes my friend. You should get rid of the car ASAP. Driving around 1,500 miles with no oil is a big no no. Sorry to hear about your problem and I'm sure everything will be fine. Good luck.

Please keep this thread on topic. If you have any questions about tranny oil, first do a search then post if you'd like.

As for the reg oil to syn, if you're over 75k miles, some ppl will notice additonal oil burnoff.

Before I would do anything, get your oil changed, and then everyday monitor oil level. Also check for blue smoke which would indicate that you are burning the oil.

It is possible that the oil pan plug was just not put in all the way

Good luck
