TRAC and ABS Lights!! HELP

I just replaced all my barke pads and one strut in the rear cuz it was bad and making noises. After everything was replaced the ABS light has come on and the TRAC Lights flashes? I dont know what caused this? What could be the problem. PLEASE HELP!

Possibly ABS sensor got disconnected / broken during strut replacement. If the mechanic changing the strut did not disconnect the sensor properly before removing struts, it's very highly possible the ABS sensor got snapped. Don't touch those area, bring your car to the shop that worked on your car to have it taken care.

Broken ABS sensor would have set that off. When replacing the struts in the rear you have to be careful... the sensor is really sensative...

that sensor is in the $100's range to replace..

I have an extra, depends on the wheel. I however refuse to put my system back on. If you are an agressive driver like me that system messes you up so bad. Since I have removed it the car is even better to drive. Hehe, nothing like locking the wheels up around 80 and smoking out the highway for a friend behind you on a bike. ROFL

I took it back to the shop and the mechanic wasnt able to figure it out. He says that the sensor is ok???!!! what should I do now? get a new sensor?!! please help!

Check the code using the diagonistic port under the hood and or take it some place else to get it checked make sure he is not shitting you
